Title: The Fury Cat: Saving the Fury Three
Genre: Children’s Book
Print Length: 39 pages
Publisher: Charlie Publishing
Publication Date: June 23, 2016
Authors: Amma Lee & Salmon Pepper

About the Author: Amma Lee was a very imaginative child. Starting with picture books at the age of five, she always loved to read and spent countless hours turning the pages of books. She imagined herself in every picture and made up new stories for every book.
Through her middle school years, she devoured every book she could find. She read everything from princess stories to adventure stories that were written for boys. She loved them all!
Now that she’s an adult she loves writing for children of all ages and she still reads children’s books when no one is looking. She has been writing full time for five years and has never been happier.

Book Synopsis: Bean, an Abyssinian cat, who has always been bullied because of his size, was more than thrilled when the Special Ops Unit, the Fury Three, recruited him to work with them. The three cats; Red, Green, and Blue are the best in the world at what they do. When the President’s daughter is kidnapped by evil mastermind, Mr. Hamster, it was no surprise that the world leader came to the Fury Three. However, the tables were turned on the Fury Three when they were captured trying to infiltrate Mr. Hamster’s lair, what which was once known as a garbage dump. It’s time for Bean to show that he is a valuable ally to the Fury Three, but will Bean’s determination to prove his worth be his downfall? “Saving the Fury Three” is a story that proves that sometimes big things come in little packages.
CREEDOM REVIEW
Front Cover: There is a very nice illustration on the front cover. The illustration displays a gray-colored cat wearing spy gear and shining a flashlight. The illustration is very professional and neat.

Characters: The characters in the book were very well developed. The main character was Bean was the focus of the story and had to step up and become a hero. As mentioned in the synopsis, he was very small and had to overcompensate by having a big heart. Bean was able to step up and as the subtitle mentions, save the Fury Three which is a Special Operations Unit made up of a three different big cats that focused on a mission to save the President’s daughter.

Content: This story was well-written and very creative. The target age group for this book is 9 to 12 years old and the book is perfect for those children. The Fury Three are different types of big cats, including a cheetah, cougar, and a snow leopard. Once the story went along, it was ironic to read that an Abyssinian cat (which is a short-haired domestic cat with a distinctive tabby coat) had to save the big cats. It’s a great story of overcoming challenges, especially a personal challenge which was Bean stepping up for his team. Children will be able to use their imagination and follow along with a great story about perseverance and bravery.

Rating: The Fury Cat: Saving the Fury Three has a five-star rating from two reviews on Amazon and that rating is well deserved. FIVE STARS FROM CREEDOM BOOK CRITIQUES.
